A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck this morning near Kilauea volcano.

The temblor occurred at 10:21 a.m. at a depth of 5.3 miles. It was located 8.4 miles south/southeast of Kilauea’s summit.

Residents reported feeling it in Puna, Hilo, Pepeekeo and Captain Cook.
